Random Midnight-Thoughts about how society changed a lot but actually didn't at all
lavender lacrimosa shalott, 03:15h
So for today I chose a topic wich was wobbling around in my head for quite some time now: the changes of society in the past centuries.
The first thing I'm gonna talk about came to my head when I heard people talking about romans and people in the middle-ages and how barbaric they were because of how they made fun of people suffering or getting killed. But if you actually think about it, people still do. There is actually not such a big difference between watching lions eating christins in the collosseum and watching shows like "Jackass" or even just action movies or war movies. I know, a lot of people will say now "But that's not real, it's only movies!" ...but let's be honest, does this actually matter? Yes, we know that the things that happen in the movies are not real, it's just acting. Still we know, many of the things happening in war and action movies could happen or did already happen in real life. And, acted or not, fact is, people enjoy seeing people die or suffer, even though it's only movies. By this I don't mean to make action and war movies seeming negative, I also enjoy a good action movie every once in a while. My point is, we shouldn't be this fast to judge the generations before us, because in a lot of things we aren't any better.
Another thing I recently realized is about the structure of society and social classes under influence of a wake government. A weak government is normally insecure about staiyng in the position of having power over the people. Their biggest fear is that people would start protesting against them and making others realize, how weak they actually are. So they just do the following: they use media, religion and some peoples stupidity to exclude minoritys (most likely women, homosexuals, foreigners and people with other religions) from society to give the less educated someone they can concentrate their hate on. At the same time they use the same things (media, religion, etc) to make other minoritys (mostly priests, politicians and rich people living in the country) seem superior to normal people. So we can say if in a country prietsts, politicians and a small amount of rich people have high influence on the broad mass and at the same time women, homosexuals, etc are looked down on, the country has a weak government that actually wants to conceal its inability to reign properly. Ironically, this government is pretty strong at the same time, because this system is already established for a rather long time. The only way of braking out of this circle would be getting some education, but as the weak government wants to keep the people even weaker, they don't make education available for the broad mass. Which is a pretty sad thing, because it makes a lot of actually intelligent people waste their talents for the selfishness of a government that wants to remain strong, whatever it takes.
I hope you enjoyed reading these things that were running around on my mind and that it could maybe help you to see the world from another point of view. I would love to hear what you think about my ideas because I'm sure that not everyone will share my opinions, I would quite like to hear that as well, because I never actually discussed these topics with anyone yet.
I hope you have (or had) a nice day

Discussions about music, Burlesque and The Great Gatsby
lavender lacrimosa shalott, 01:22h
Dear Ladys and Gentlemen
Please step right up,
I'll bring to you some entertainment
for I am pleased to be your humble blogger today.
Accept my hospitality, indulge in abnormality~
"Lana del Rey is such a horrible singer"
"How can people listen to Nicki Minaj, she has no talent, listen to good music like Metal!"
"K-Pop is like the worst music ever, you can't even understand what they're saying."
I've been hearing stuff like that so often recently and it seriously annoys me so badly, it's not even funny. Always when I talk about music with friends, my family or just random people, always when it gets to artis they don't like or a genre that they can't really identify with, they start saying stuff like "uh,they can't sing, they have no talent, blablabla".
How do you just say stuff like that? If you are a complete metalhead and don't like Rap and Pop, it's obvious that you're not going to like Nicki Minaj. But that doesnt mean she's bad, she's still a good Rapper/Singer but just doesn't do your type of music.I just quickly had to say that :D
And now just grab another cup of tea and follow me to a nicer topic: The Great Gatsby
I just really have to talk about that movie right now, because I just really love it SO much :D (I'm really looking forward to actually reading the book). While watching the movie I literally fell in love with Jordan Baker, she's just such an awsome character and I had the impression, that she's quite similiar to myself. And as I've been really loving the 20's lately I will get my hair cut like Jordan tomorrow and I'm so excited for it ^o^

I hope you enjoyed reading the stuff I had to say for today and wish you a good night :3
PS: to those who actually spotted the quite obvious Emilie Autumn references:you're cool! <3
PPS: is it a weird thing, if you just listened to "The Sweet Escape" by Gwen Stefani and your first thought is:"Oh, I'd so love to do a Burlesque dance to that song!" ?

My kinda pointless introduction
lavender lacrimosa shalott, 23:58h
So this is my first official blog and I'm already really looking forward to making it a wonderful place, filled with joy and happiness :D *yay*
First of all, I'll try to quickly introduce myself :)
My name is Constantin, I'm a 17 years old androgynous boy from germany~ My main interests, which are (mostly) going to be the topics of my blog are Makeup, literature, movies, music (I love listening to music and also play the piano), fashion and history ( even though makeup is not going to be a main topic of the blog, as I already have a facebook page for that, which you can of course follow if you want to :3 I will put the link to it in the end of this blog :) )
For those of you who were now thinking "what the hell, he's german, why does he write in english?" ... I do write in english so people who don't speak german (or just don't speak it that well) can also follow my blog, and the germans who want to follow my blog do obviously speak english well enough to get, what I'm trying to say here ;D
Now to answer the common questions:yes, I am a boy.Yes, I do wear makeup.Yes, I am gay. No, I don't copy Jeffree Star. No, I'm not a Dragqueen. No, I don't worship the devil.
If you may have a problem with that, you are now friendly invited to leave :)
here the link to my facebook-makeup-page: https://www.facebook.com/ContysDailyMakeupTips
So I hope I could make you a little interested in what is going to happen on this blog and I'm looking forward to the next time, when I'll start talking about stuff that is actually interesting :D
have a nice day everyone <3
